The programmes, activities, camps, training, etc., of scouts & guides do improve one's personality even at the young age. Leadership qualities acquired by the pupils through scouts & guides movement play an important role in their future career. While incorporating values & disciplined training through scouts & guides activities we not only educate the children but also build up our nation with dedication. To be a true scouter or guide captain one should have tolerance and patience.

The Scout/Guide Movement is based on the following Principles:

i. Duty to God:
Adherence to spiritual principles, loyalty to the religion that expresses them and acceptance of the duties resulting there from.
ii. Duty to others:
- Loyalty to one's country in harmony with the promotion of local, national and international peace, understanding and  cooperation.
- Participation in the development of society with recognition and respect for the dignity of one's fellowmen and for the integrity of the nation and world.
iii. Duty to self: Responsibility for the Self Development.
